Karting enthusiasts emblazon the image of the perfect chassis in their minds: lightweight, yet powerfully durable material capable of launching a kart forward without the slightest wear or tear. Rare material that comes with the likes of professionally built popular race-cars like the illustrious McLaren. What about karts that could rip through side turns at speeding bullet speeds without raising a wheel a centimeter above the ground, gliding swiftly like a falco such as the futuristic cars in I, Robot? And along with perfect frames comes perfect tires, tires “grooven” to perfection providing the finest traction and downright freakish controls when running the curve.

Let’s discuss the intricacies and place a perspective on frames for your go-kart. The chassis as it is called in professional and enthusiast circles, is by far the most important piece of this machine. The construction is paramount in maintaining a solid go-kart. What constitutes a frame? Think of a frame simply as parts holding a component together. In the case of these speedsters, the frame is welded together by torsion bars. Stiff frames are a result of shorter bars crossed together, and more flexible frames are associated with longer bars.

Stiff frames that do not provide flexibility were the backbone of earlier go-karts and broke down easily. First off, simpler go-karts do not have the specifications needed (most important, suspension and tire traction) to ease the punishment frames go through while turning, accelerating, and stopping. Running on 2 or 4 cycle engines does not help compensate the health of a frame. A lack of traction on your tires will cause uneven weight transfer and stability on your frame, ripping one or both sides loose at the same time. In essence, the frame is responsible for determining how well your vehicle moves zipping on asphalt, concrete, or dirt – dictating your performance on wide turns and shorter turns.

A sturdy, well-built frame is the key to manoeuvring well on the track, especially when turning. Wait, isn’t a frame supposed to be resistant to the rigors and demands of punishing your go-kart as it explodes forward? Of course – but the most important criteria for an excellent frame is to negotiate turns well. Frames are directly responsible for how well go-karts turn left and right. Weaker go-karts with cheap components are known to slide and drift along turns – in some instances, flipping to its side entirely with careless driving. “Side bite” is referred to keeping a go-kart planted to the track without sliding. Without the proper frame, go-karts will manoeuvre out of control, even shutting off in some cases due to over pressure to the engine.

The design of the go-kart chassis has everything to do with how well it moves on turns and maintaining side bite. If the width of the rear rails (go-kart frames constitute front rails and rear rails) is narrow, with measurements ranging from 24? to 25? – from “kingpin” to “kingpin”, the ends of the rail – it will have less side bite. Wider rails barely ever exceed 30? on standard go-karts. The dynamics of the front and rear rails can be effectively pictured using this example: suppose you had two bottles – a two-gallon jug and a 16 oz. Water bottle. Giving it a swift, hard poke to its side – which container has the best chance of tipping to its side? If you guessed the water bottle, you guessed right! Wider rails provide stability and “foundation” while turning, reducing the side bite overall.

Choosing the right frame for your go-kart can largely depend on the surface you are riding on. Whether it is asphalt, concrete, or dirt – different types of frames behave differently according to surface. For example, dirt track frames should consist of a short front rail and a longer back rail. Dirt tracks place a lot of stress and challenge on the front rail and stiff back rails zipping through dirt can cut power to the engine while cutting a turn. The best frame for riding dirt tracks are ones with narrow fronts and longer backs, vice versa to asphalt and concrete.

The A-1 performance of a frame largely depends on tire traction as well. Low traction tires (tires that do not “stick” well to the ground) are not grooved enough to withstand the rigors of the surface, rattling the stiff frame to oblivion. It also causes uneven weight transfer throughout the go-kart, and that is a no-no for maintaining optimum control of your money maker. Consider this scenario: you have two pairs of roller skates. One has wheels half-an-inch in width and the other has 3-inch-wide wheels. Which pair would provide better balance as you roller skate? If you love mathematics, treat traction as a formula with the equation: traction = stability. Go ahead, transform yourself into a karting aficionado with this valuable piece of knowledge!

A major issue among karting enthusiasts is the durability and longevity of flexible frames. Exposure to punishing breaks and turns, along with the gruelling hits to track walls every now and then, can distort the frame which cannot be “popped” back to its original condition. Experts recommend replacing frames every year. There are many maintenance techniques you could practice on your kart to keep flexibility intact like running your kart through a course backwards. Racing a kart using the finish line as your starting point and your starting point as the finish line will have a “reverse effect” on the frame, shaping it opposite of what it would be shaped if you were racing the course normally. It’s like turning back the hands of time on your speedster!

The question over choosing the right go-kart chassis boils down to flexibility. High traction tires and a stiff frame is a recipe for disaster, causing your machine to turn stiffly and generate strenuous effort on the curves. Low traction tires will cause uneven weight transfer and break apart your frame like bread crumbs. Options for frames mainly depend on what type of go-kart you’re riding, as each go-kart and their engine work best under certain scenarios. Stiff frames are a staple of 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines and flexible frames are found with higher horsepower engines. Remember, the more rigorous the circuit, the more flexible a chassis should be!

Are you looking for a home based business that will help you make easy money online? There was never a better time to make money online than right now. The secret to fast, easy money on the internet is a concept that is as old as marketing itself – affiliate marketing.

The basic principles of affiliate marketing are simple – and they’ve been used by businesses since long before the internet. It’s the ?I’ll tell two friends’ concept of marketing. In a nutshell, you establish yourself as someone to trust – and then recommend products for people to buy. It’s something that all of us do every day of our lives – when a friend asks you what perfume you’re using, where you buy your gas, how you got your glasses so clean. But some people make it work to make money for them.

You can, too! The Internet market is driven by affiliate marketing. It’s the easiest way to make money online. All you do is recommend products to people who visit your web site – and get paid when they buy those products. There are only three things you need to make affiliate marketing work for you.

?The Right Attitude
You have to want it enough to go after it. Are you ready to start making money online now? Then take the next step…

?The Right Tools
Knowing the right tools to use in affiliate marketing is the key to getting the most out of your internet marketing efforts.

o Google Adsense and Adwords: Google’s premier marketing tools to place contextual ads on web pages help move targeted traffic to the sites that you want to feature.

o Clickbank, the Internet’s largest affiliate marketplace where you can shop to find products YOU want to promote – and get paid for it.

o Keywords are the key (pun completely intended!) to helping search engines and readers find the affiliate links that you post.

o Referral links are your bread and butter. Knowing how to keep them safe from hijacking is vital to protecting your earnings.

o Website Hosting is vital to getting your message out there. Choosing a web host that’s responsive AND set up for your business needs is a matter of knowing what you’ll need to succeed.

o Autoresponders can help you follow up on visits and emails to maximize the potential of your web site and articles.

o Article submitters and formatters make it easy to send out articles and affiliate links out to dozens of article directories.

And that’s just a few of the tools that will help you make money on the internet. Is that all Greek to you? That’s why you need ….

? The Right Education
A mentor is your most powerful ally. You can struggle with learning how to do it all yourself, but why should you? There are internet money makers out there who are willing to show you how to make fast money online. They’re the pioneers who figured out how to use the tools – and how to use them to YOUR best advantage. If you could have an expert take you by the hand and lead you step-by-step through the process of signing up for the right programs and setting up the right tools the right way, would you say no? Of course not! Take advantage of what they’ve learned from experience to make getting started in your own internet business as easy as following a recipe for success.

Whether your dog is a fussy eater or not, making homemade dog food for him is one of the healthiest things that you can do. Of course, it is easier to make dog food for your dog if he isn’t a fussy eater. Otherwise, you will probably have to go through a trial and error period where you prepare batches and batches of homemade dog food until you find a recipe that he will actually eat.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that you can’t prepare a nutritious meal for your dog either. After all, with the exception of a few types of meat that really don’t wind up in dog food much anymore, dog food makers actually use the same type of foods that we do. If you don’t believe it, read the label on a can of dog food.

Why would anyone want to go through the extra work to prepare food for his or her dog at home rather than purchasing it in the supermarket or at the pet store? For one thing, you get to control what goes into your dog’s food and therefore, you can pay special attention to his nutritional needs.

Secondly, it may actually be cheaper to prepare homemade dog food rather than purchasing it in a can at the store. Even if you buy it in bulk or on sale, canned dog food can be costly, especially if your dog is a finicky eater and prefers the better and more expensive brands.

Thirdly, your dog might just like the taste of it better than the canned variety. Some canned varieties have added fillers, artificial flavorings, or animal by products. The taste may not be as natural or as flavorful as the kind that you will be making.

Fourth, the time that you take to prepare it can be additional bonding time for the two of you. One of you can work in the kitchen preparing the food, while the other is watching the one that’s working. Your dog will probably be doing more than watching though, because he’ll probably be drooling as well, as the aroma of the food begins to waft over to his nostrils to kick start his salivary glands.

At any rate, preparing homemade dog food is simpler than you think. One of the easiest meats to prepare for this venture is ground meat. In fact, ground turkey has less fat and is easier to digest than ground beef, so I suggest that you use that. Ground veal is another good option. However, it is usually more expensive, plus it may not be available in your supermarket.

Avoid adding salt or oil since you probably don’t need it. The extra salt will make your dog thirsty and it really isn’t good for him. Cook the meat on slow, stirring or turning it constantly to allow the juices to remain inside the meat. Once the juices have turned clear, the meat is fully cooked.

If necessary, you can use a bit of soy bean oil to keep the meat from sticking to the pan. Additionally, you can add some beef or chicken broth to the pan while cooking the meat.

If you plan on adding vegetables, you can add precooked vegetables when the meat appears to be almost finished cooking. Additionally, you can add raw vegetables in the beginning of the cooking stage provided you have diced them into small pieces.

When selecting the vegetables that you will add, attempt to use some that have the most nutritional value for your dog in regard to vitamin content. Ideally, green vegetables are always a good option. Once your dog has finished eating his homemade brand of dog food, look to see exactly which vegetables he left in his dish if any. Whatever he left, he isn’t going to eat, so don’t include it with the next batch that you make.

How much food you cook depends on several things. It depends on the size of your dog, your dog’s appetite, and the number of meals that you want to be able to store for the week. If you like cooking, then simply prepare your dog’s meal when you prepare your own. If you don’t like to cook, then prepare several meals at a time and refrigerate the leftovers for 3 to 4 days.

Several additional options that you have for meal time is to include a bit of rice or cubed fortified bread to your pet’s dinner entree. If your pet is a bit under the weather, consider crushing some dog vitamins to add to his food.

Whatever you do, always introduce a change in your dog’s diet gradually. This will avoid digestion and elimination problems. Simply add a bit of the homemade dog food to his existing food, gradually increasing the amount and decreasing the amount of his old food until you have him on 100% homemade dog food.

Cookware is commonly used in the kitchen. It comprises of cooking vessels such as, frying pans and saucepans. It is intended for use on a range top or stove. Cookwares come in many variations. With the proper understanding of its features, you can choose which best fits your kitchen.

Cookware is commonly used in the kitchen, and it comprises of cooking vessels such as, frying pans and saucepans. It is intended for use on a range top or stove in preparing the food or for cooking purposes. Many variations have been developed as people tend to discover various other vessels for cooking.

During the civilizations of Stone Age, it was believed that the first techniques of using cooking vessels have been used. Among this, there were the improvements to basic roasting, and the use of clay or large leaves in order to preserve the moisture of the cooked food.

In Asia, bamboo tubes can be a used as a container, while in other places, the shells of turtles or large mollusks are being used as a waterproof cooking vessel. As early as 7000 BC, the inhabitants of the Tehaucan Valley began carving large stone bowls. Pottery developments allowed the creation of different shapes and sizes for fireproof cooking vessels. Subsequent to this, the porous container was then converted in order to produce ceramic glazes. Aside from this, bronze and iron metalworking skills were allowed in making cookware.

By the 17th century, the Westerner’s kitchens began to use kettles, baking pans, skillets and pots. These were commonly produced by a local blacksmith in American colonies. The material was derived from iron, while brass or copper were common in Europe and Asia.

Cookwares are made from different materials, such as:

Metals

? Aluminum – a very good thermal conductivity that does not rust. It is lightweight, and resistant to many forms of corrosion. However, it can react with some acidic foods and changes its taste.

Hence, non-anodized (has no layer of aluminum oxide) aluminum may cause oxidation to some of the foods like sauces that contains egg yolks, or vegetables such as asparagus or artichokes. Aluminum is commonly used for pie plates, cake or muffin pans, baking sheets and even pasta pots, steamers, skillets and stockpots.

? Copper – is good for thermal conductivity, it provides most of the heating aspect. Copper tends to be heavy and requires occasional re-tinting. It is also expensive. So far, they are considered as the best for fast cooking and saut?ing due to such high heat.

? Cast Iron – a reactive material that can withstand very high temperatures. Cast iron is a porous material that easily rusts and requires seasoning before usage.

? Stainless Steel – is a relatively poor heat conductor. It is commonly used for kitchen equipment that contains a minimum of 11.5% chromium. Stainless steel is an iron alloy that also blends containing 18% chromium with either 8% nickel, called 18/8, or with 10% nickel, called 18/10. It reacts with either alkaline or acidic foods. Thus, they do not easily dent.

? Carbon Steel – maintains high strength and heat resistance when rolled into very thin sheets of material. Carbon Steel may be an advantage for woks and paella pans, but it does not conduct any heat. A process of rubbing fat on the surface can be done as its recommended usage in cooking.

There are also composite and coated cookwares such as:

? Enamel casted iron – made of cast iron which covers the surface with porcelain. It is has the properties that combines cast iron with a non-reactive and low stick surface. Thus, this creates a piece that has retention and heat distribution.

? Enamel over steel – this technique creates a piece that has a non-reactive, heat distribution of carbon steel and a low stick surface. Enamel over steel is ideal for large pans that are used mostly in water based cooking. Thus, it is a popular piece of cookware for camping instances because of its lightweight feature.

? Clad aluminum or copper – a technique with a layer of heat conducting material that can fabricate pans, such as aluminum and copper. Both its inner and the outer portion of a pot made of aluminum are typically clad. This way, it provides stainless surfaces for cooking and a contact cook top. Plus, the interior surface of copper is typically clad which leaves more attractive copper for exposure to the outer side of the pan.

? Teflon coated frying pan (Non-stick) – Teflon (polytetrafluoroethylene) minimizes the possibility of food sticking to the pan’s surface. Using Teflon is much easier because it is effortless to clean it as compared to other pots. Aside from this, there are no frequent results of having foods burned in its usage. It is important that while cooking, never use metal implements on the pan. This requires cautious care and attention.

Non-metallic

Non-metallic cookware can be used in microwave ovens but cannot be used on the stovetop. Such examples are as follows:

? Ceramics – provides a nonstick cooking surface such as glazed ceramics like porcelain. Terra Cotta (unglazed ceramics) has a porous surface. During the cooking process, its surface can hold water and other liquids. Hence, some glazes used on ceramic have a highly contained level of lead that can be a risk to our health.

? Glass – Borosilicate glass is oven safe and allows the food to be seen with its clear glass.

? Glass-ceramic – this ceramic is used in making different products that has the best properties of both glass and ceramic cookware. It is immune to thermal shock because of it’s near-zero co-efficiency to thermal expansion.

? Silicone – able to withstand maintained temperatures of 675?F (360?C). It is light and flexible. The advantage of removing baked goods from the pan is its own flexibility.

Cooking vessels such as pots and pans have different variations and types. Such are:

? Braising pans and roasting pans – also known as roasters and braisers. It provides space for cooking chicken, pork or beef. It is also a shallow, large and wide pan, usually made of heavy gauge metal for safety usage on cook tops. Thus, it typically has a cover and two loops or handles.

? Casserole pans – can be used on the stovetop and in the oven. It is commonly made from glazed ceramic. A casserole is similar to having a roaster and a Dutch oven that can be used interchangeably.

? Dutch ovens – used for stews, soups, braised meats and a variety of large dishes, for slow low heat cooking. It is made from cast iron. Generally it is made into a deep pot with a heavy lid, for the purpose of re-creating oven conditions on the stovetop.

There?s not much in British cuisine that takes an adventurous eater to deal with. While the Vietnamese are partial to a slice of puppy and French favour the flavour of frog we?ve always been quite content with the quietly unassuming joys of fish and chips.

But there is one dish on our national menu that has the power to make even the strongest stomach face a moment of doubt: black pudding.

Made from the blood of animals such as pig, lamb, goose or even horses (among other assorted options) with mix of shredded suet, oatmeal, onions and a good selection of herbs, it?s one of the few dishes that divides the country. Many won?t even try it, but those who do swear by the taste.

Celebrity chef Brian Turner CBE is definitely on the pro side of the argument. ?Black pudding always reminds me of my childhood growing up and learning to cook at my dad?s transport caf?,? says the Halifax born star of shows such as Ready Steady Cook. ?I often?watched the puddings being made at Ernie Ward?s, the butchers just across the road, and love to fry them with bacon and tomato. In a fried bread sandwich for breakfast black pudding was delicious!?

Today his culinary methods are a little more sophisticated, but the love of black pudding remains. ?I?d still serve it simply, with bacon and eggs or with apple and pea puree. Rustic, good flavoured food is always making a comeback, especially today with the accent on British produce.?

It?s a resurgence that has caught the eye of many cutting-edge chefs, such as the owner of the award-winning Kwizeen? restaurant in Blackpool, Marco Calle-Calatayud. He admires the ?strong meaty?flavour? of black pudding and has found exciting new ways to incorporate it into dishes: ?I like to gently boil?the black pudding?and then transfer to a saut? pan and finish it off with a little butter to accentuate its rich taste.?

?I tend to use it in dishes such as traditional Lancashire hotpot, but what I have found over the last two years is that people like to eat it as a starter too. It?s very popular.?

But while black pudding appears to be very much a dish of the moment, it is very much a favourite from the past too. One expert who really knows the ins and outs of its bloody history is Andy Holt, owner of The Real Lancashire Black Pudding Co Ltd.

?In Homer?s Odyssey (from around the 8th century BC) the Greek General Agamemnon is said to have fed his army on blood and onions to keep them strong,? Andy enthuses. ?This makes sense because the blood contains iron and protein and the onions contain carbohydrates and sugars.

?The Romans, who were great sausage makers, took this recipe and put it into skins ? thus introducing the black pudding. Each country developed its own particular type of blood sausage, ?Boudin Noir? in France, ?Morcilla? in Spain, ?Biroldo? in Italy, ?Kashanka? in Poland and ?Bludwurst? in Germany. English black pudding is not dissimilar to ?Bludwurst?; the main difference is the herbs which alter the flavour and the fact that the oats and barley add quite a high cereal content.?

So, as a manufacturer, has Andy seen any benefit from the current black pudding boom? ?People have definitely become more interested in what they eat. ?Good, wholesome peasant food? is how one writer described black pudding and it is and now it is an integral part of the finest menus. Our trade has grown at a steady 10% year on year?because of people looking to source the best.

?Across the country we estimate that a staggering 300 tonnes a week is consumed in Britain, although obviously we only supply a tiny percent of that, which we believe is for the more discerning consumer.? It may not be a modest set of claims, but Andy?s self-belief is not misplaced ? after all, this year his company (based in Haslingden) was officially named as the purveyors of England?s best black pudding.

?As sad as it may seem black puddings have been a part of my life for the past 15 years,? he continues. ?Through them I have travelled all around Europe and made lots of friends in many places, I love the fact that we produce a local delicacy which is part of our food heritage. I feel proud to be keeping this great tradition alive.?

In fact, so keen was Andy to promote his products that in 2005 he even helped to create a black pudding flavoured ice cream. That might have been pushing the envelope just a smidge too far, but nobody can fault his enthusiasm. And with such a traditional British treat back in the public eye it?s important that make sure that we never let our desire for this exceptional treat melt away again.

What should you be looking for when deciding on a Jacuzzi?

Should you simply be looking for the cheapest product that one can buy?

Or should you be looking for the compromise something that is a very well built product at a reasonable price and at the same time is economic to run and simple to use and maintain.

When it comes to purchasing real estate or property all the experts say that are only three points that one has to consider and it is that very saying that we have all heard before so many times LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION.

I take the same view with a Hot Tub Jacuzzi but then the three words are QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY.

I would simply say that you should not waste your time buying cheap inferior made junk no matter how well it appears to be packaged.

One of the common problems you hear with cheaper less well designed and engineered spas is that they cannot run on say 16 amp electricity. Another is that they are much more expensive to run as they vent cold air into the Tub as opposed to re-using the heat of the motors and pumps.

If one does not go for quality and purchases a cheaper produced product then you will not be surprised if it becomes in-operative or as kids on the block would say – brown bread, or should I say dead, and thereby expired with in a short time.

With a Hot Tub as with most things in life it is often a case of pay up now or in the future and in some ways that reminds me of when I first started working more years ago than I care to remember. One of the partners for whom I enjoyed working and learnt a great deal used to say that one can usually gain experience in one or two ways it simply either takes a very long time or vast sums of money. I have to say, with hindsight, that he knew very well what he was talking about.

There is also the well known phrase that buying cheap usually means that one ends up buying twice.

In some ways this could be compared with a motor car.

One can buy an older car for relatively cheap money but then incur a lot of expense continually repairing it and keeping it safe on the road.

Alternatively one could buy a more expensive car for considerable more money but of course then you would then not have to repair it so often. But probably overall it would cost more or less the same in terms of monetary cost.

But more often than not the very cheap alternative would actually cost a lot more in true terms as there would be many times when the car was off the road waiting for spare parts or what ever.

This is very similar, in many ways. to purchasing a Hot Tub as there is very little point is there in buying a cheap false bargain if it then packs up and it then can not be used for some time. That is why you should always buy a Hot Tub with controls that are made by leading manufacturers such as Balboa (American) or Gecko (Canadian) that way you know that one can always get spare parts for them.

But one has to remember that when it comes to purchasing a Jacuzzi it is of course nothing as simple as buying a new motor car, simply as modern motor cars have advanced so much that all one has to do is that simple regular check on the coolant and oil. More often than not that can be done from the drivers seat when you insert the key. All that is often required in terms of service for many miles is to simply change the filter and oil.

But you must remember that a Hot Tub is much more complicated.

Whilst a hot tub and a spa have many moving parts and electronics the crucial difference of course is that a Hot Tub is laden full of water and that water is being pumped around the pipes and plumbing under great pressure from the motors and pumps.

Whilst a well made Hot Tub will require minimal maintenance one has to maintain the water quality.

If one does not take care of the quality of the water the sensors may become clogged with calcium or calcified and then problems may occur.

Obviously a cheap poorly constructed hot tub is a sure fire recipe for a disaster. You can usually tell the poorly constructed ones quite easily. They often have a steel frame as the construction of the shell is unable to take the weight of people and water with out reinforcement, this is very much an outdated from of construction. The use of a non branded acrylic such as Lucite of Aristech both leading makers of Acrylic.

If they do not use a quality acrylic like Lucite or Aristech you need to ask yourself the question why they do not? The answer is dead simple as these branded materials costs 4 times as much as inferior materials.

As the worlds leading spas are made using these branded materials if it does not have a shell made from these materials then I think one needs to question how well the is the spa made internally.

Just because it may be well packaged or have lovely wrapping paper it does not mean that the contents which are out of sight are any good.

A car has been designed and engineered for many years since Henry Ford introduced the model T and in many ways has advanced to a certain state of perfection and it is probably true that car could run for many years with, more or less, minimal maintenance except the odd oil filter, a change of oil and a battery every so often.

The same is true if you buy a Hot Tub from a major manufacturer who has been designing them for many years as you will get a first class product which will require little maintenance.

So, my firm advice, is that one should only purchase a product that is well constructed by an American or European internationally recognized producer of Hot Tubs and then there is every chance that the product will last and last and give years of faultless performance.

Do not buy one simply because it appears to be American or European please check it out and go underneath the wrapping and packaging.

The reasoning is simple in that an internationally recognized producer does back his products with a real guarantee so in the unlikely event that there is a fault it rests with the manufacturer not the consumer.

These manufacturers have had many decades of experience and they build them, from the ground up, with the proper parts and components so it will not break down and so for that simple reason and that reason alone that they are prepared to provide a proper guarantee.

With the fast paced life of individuals there is hardly anytime left for spending in the house. The work life consumes at least 10-14 hours of the day and the rest few hours are spent in relaxing and getting ready to get back to work fresh the next day. Home appliances mainly are electrical gadgets for working smoothly at home. They have to be installed carefully so that they do not cause any damage. Trained personnel from the company only should be approached to install any appliance. User guides and manuals are the users technical know-how without which the appliances should not be operated. Buying home appliances should be done after checking warranty from the manufacturer else there are chances of buying duplicate goods which can result to malfunctioning. It is also advisable to have a clear demonstration of the appliances before operating it to avoid any accident or malfunctioning of any part. For example in Microwave oven to set the timer according to the recipe is important else it would ruin the food and the gadget. Safety is a key factor while using electrical gadgets therefore after every use the device should be switched off and unplugged.

For a person who is a homemaker importance of being at home holds a different perspective unlike the working professional. The homemakers have an inclination and purpose of being at home as they fulfill the needs of the members who are working outside. Nowadays there is no one fulfilling the needs back at home as family sizes have considerably reduced to just 3-4 members.

The popular home appliances of today are irons, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, dishwashers, refrigerators, exhaust fans and washing machines. The idea of buying home appliances is not just to save time but also to do the work without must wastage. The shortage of maids, water have given rise to appliances like washing machines and dish washers where the gadget cannot use water beyond its capacity. It also saves the money one would otherwise spend on the maid. Man earns money to live a life of comforts and for people living in places where weather conditions are in extremes air conditioners, radiators, room heaters are necessary.

Most of the household work is done in the kitchen so to buy Kitchen appliances has become must. The kitchen appliances without which we feel it difficult to work are Toaster / Grill, Tea / Coffee Maker, Cooker, Food Processor, Microwave Oven. These Cooking appliances are smaller in size and very portable as they can be easily carried to any place. By pressing a simple button and setting the timer one gets the food ready on the table. It can be used even by children with much ease.

Few renowned manufacturers who have contributed to the home appliances to the world are Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Crompton Greaves, Havells, Morphy Richards, LG, Kelvinator etc.

A decision of buying an appliance not just evolves the need to have it but it should also be kept in mind that the gadget does not become a burden on the electricity bill. The user will not derive any satisfaction otherwise.

If you are planning a cookery holiday in Italy, but have not decided where to go, here is a guide that will help you decide on a destination for your holiday in Italy.?

1. Albisano, Lake Garda ? You can spend three nights and four days at Albisano as part of a cookery holiday package and learn to cook all kinds of authentic Italian food from pasta to desserts. Learn all you can about the different ingredients that go into Italian food, which ingredients are seasonal and also visit the local winery or cheese maker.

2. Sorrento ? Known for having a strong Mediterranean influence, Sorrento?s cuisine makes this region a perfect destination for a cookery holiday if you want to learn how to cook simple and delicious Italian dishes. Home to one of the healthiest regional cuisines in Italy, Sorrento cuisine uses primary ingredients like tomatoes, mozzarella, native spices and beans. In terms of meats used, Sorrento cuisine leans heavily toward seafood as its meat of choice. The region has a host of cookery holidays and cookery courses on offer for interested tourists.

3. Tuscany – Tuscan cuisine is influenced to a large degree by Mediterranean flavours. The four primary ingredients in Tuscan cooking are bread or pastas, extra-virgin olive oil, beef or any kind of meat and vegetables. Incidentally, Tuscany is home to the world famous Chianti wines. For those tourists interested in learning how to cook the Tuscan way, various cooking schools in the area offer cookery holiday packages that will give you value for your money.?

4. Naples ? Most of what the rest of the world terms as Italian cuisine today is in reality, the Neapolitan version of Italian cuisine. Learning to cook the Neapolitan way will involve many seafood recipes, with everything from fish to clams used as part of Neapolitan cuisine. Naples is also the birthplace of Pizza and Macaroni, making it the ideal place for you to learn how to make these two Italian classics, just like the locals do.

5. Sicily ? A veritable melting pot of cultures and cuisines, Sicilian cuisine has been influenced by the Grecians, who introduced wine into their cooking, the Romans, who made the goose meat a favoured delicacy in Sicily and the Byzantines who taught Sicilians how to play around with sweet and sour flavours alike. These are just some of the cultures that have influenced Sicilian cuisine over time, and learning to cook like a Sicilian would involve blending all these elements together perfectly.

Critical to any kitchen design is the attention given to storage. How much cupboard space is enough? And is enough ever enough?

The minimalist will design his or her kitchen considering only the intended function of a kitchen: to prepare and serve meals. Said kitchens are designed only to store the tools necessary to such function. The minimalist will rue the day he shelved consideration of extra storage space.

A kitchen is unlike any other room in the house. While other rooms change to reflect changes in lifestyle – new couch, new lamps, new curtains — the kitchen grows with its owner, changes little, and brings a history with it. While I started out thirty years ago with a set of borrowed pots and pans and a mismatched set of yard sale cutlery, I have accumulated so much more, both voluntarily and by accident.

Fortunately, the initial owners of my home had the foresight to implement a kitchen design that accommodates these accidents of time. Ceiling high shelves, while rarely poked into, are the perfect spot for Christmas dishes, Grandmother’s set of old china, the children’s first dishes, my collection of college day beer steins, and some rather unique and unusual impulse purchases.

I mean, doesn’t everyone own a set of salt and pepper shakers shaped like a pig’s snout? Then there are the ‘theme’ dishes: apples, sunflowers, roosters. You name it, I’ve got it. Fortunately, I’ve also got a kitchen designed to take it.

Any kitchen design worth its snout in salt has to recognize that the kitchen is the main recipient of birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day and Christmas. Fondue sets, martini sets, cheese sets, candy making kits, cake decorating kits, all of those “I knew you’d love it,” end up in the kitchen.

Where do you put thirty years of recipe books? How many junk drawers can you fill in a lifetime? Then there are all those nifty little appliances: waffle makers, crock pots, sandwich makers, electric griddles, food processors, bread machines, and so on. And these are the things I don’t use…

Go ahead dig the Internet and you’re bound to find some fresh new designs for your kitchen that will fit your needs. It doesn’t have to be frustrating experience it can also be a lot of fun if you do your homework.

But no matter what remember this… Kitchen design — it has to begin with storage. Lots.
